Michael J. Fox reprises Marty Mcfly!

Set your DVR's to Tuesday, October 19th for the Spike 2010 Scream Awards! They are going to have a special Back to the Future Reunion in honor of the 25th Anniversary of the first film. The video below is a recreation of the original Back to the Future teaser trailer with Michael J. Fox reprising his role! I always had the impression that Fox wasn't all that big on the Back to the Future stuff so seeing him do this is every geeks fantasy come true! Don't remake these films ever!

Stay tuned. I am going to be adding a post with exclusive footage of Eric Stoltz, the original Marty Mcfly, that is being released on the new 25th Anniversary Blu-Ray.

Is Marty Mcfly and Doc Brown one of the greatest relationships in movie history?

I wanted to share this article with you guys.  If your a fan of Back to the Future then you will find this article very interesting but even if you are not it is still a good read.  Den of Geek explores the relationship between Marty Mcfly and Doc Brown throughout the Back to the Future Trilogy.  They go deeper into it then I have ever thought of and conjured thoughts about the pair and their role in cinema history.  It is an article I highly recommend and no they do not declare them lovers.  Den of Geek is a cool website that has many different and interesting articles on it.  It is totally a cool website that you should add to your favorites online!  You can click on the link to go their site and read the article.

Also, in other news, Back to the Future Part 1 is being re-released in theaters for 2 days only.  From what I understand it is a new digital print so probably pretty similar to the new Blu-Ray releases coming out at the end of this month.  The sad news is that it is only being shown in AMC Theaters.  I guess there are no AMC Theaters in Oregon.  What the hell!?  You can click on this link to find out if it is playing in a city near you.  A new trailer celebrating the re-release is out too!

Zack Snyder will direct Superman!!

This is breaking news! It was announced today that Zack Snyder will direct a new Superman film. Zack is famous for his breakout films 300, The Watchmen and the just released Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. The film is written by David Goyer and will be produced by Christopher Nolan. Nolan is the director of the latest incarnation of the Batman series. Awesome news! I personally loved Snyder's re-imagining of Dawn of the Dead that doesn't get talked about nearly as much as the rest of his films. I was so hyped about the last Superman movie that was released only to be disappointed and falling asleep in the theater! I know that if anyone can pull this off, it is the team that Warner Bros has put together. Zach Snyder is set to release his next film titled, Sucker Punch, this next spring. Check the trailer out!

The Old Spice Guy as Luke Cage

Sorry for the lack of postings the past couple of days. It has been hectic moving and I am still not nestled into my new studio yet but hopefully will within the next week or 2. Who knew moving could be so crazy!

I saw this video earlier and just had to post it. Unless you have been living under a rock, you have seen the new Old Spice Commercials. It stars a guy by the name of Isaiah Mustafa. Well, obviously the commercials were cool and a great success. Watch below to see what I mean.

I guess Isaiah is done with making Old Spice Commercials and is currently campaigning for a new gig, the Marvel comic book character Luke Cage. I am not going to pretend I know anything about Luke Cage and his world other than he is an Avenger. I thought the video was well made and funny.
